Yes, actor Muna Obiekwe died of a kidney disease but
there are untold stories you really need to know about the death of the
handsome actor. One of the stories is that Muna's illness was diagnosed in October last year. Chinwe shared that Muna’s
kidney failure was triggered by High Blood Pressure possibly caused by
stress. According to Chinwe, Muna’s family was already making plans for a
kidney transplant – “his uncles were to come to Nigeria to operate on
him”. Unfortunately, both of his kidneys failed and he passed away
before the transplant operation.
Is really sad that we lost such a young soul. From all I read from fellow actors its a pointer that nollywood does not have a welfare committee. Since I heard of MUNA demise my heart aches when I read or see the flambouyant lifestyles or show off of most of his collegues. Yet he died in silent. I can say Cry not for Muna but weep and sorrow for none of your choice cars, mansions etc will accompany you on the last journey. Muna I know you have gone to rest, away from this wicked world.
