Another Bomb Blast Hits Kano City

Only 24 hours after a bomb blast killed about 44 people in the city of Jos, Plateau state, another explosion has been reported to have gone off near a Mosque in Kano state, northern Nigeria. According to a report published by The Premium Times, quoting police officials and other witnesses, the female suicide bomber ferrying the explosive died in the explosion.Though the report did not mention the number of innocent lives that were lost in the incident, the spokesperson for the Kano Police Command, Magaji Majiya, said the bomber detonated the explosive around 9:30p.m after she was prevented from accessing the Umar Bin Khatab mosque along Zaria Road.
